...Some new opportunities for you to get involved...
There are a number of areas for you to get involved with over the next few weeks and months. Please register your interest below if you would like to find out more:-
1) Back to Church Sunday
Our cafe church service on 18th September will be a fantastic event to bring people along to. We have designed a postcard for you to hand out to your friends/colleagues/neighbours inviting them to give church a try. The service will be relaxed and informal, with music, multimedia and a warm welcome. Have a think and see who you could invite to come with you. You may even want to take a batch of postcards and drop them through all the doors along your street!
2) Cafe Church @ Costa
From October, we will be starting a cafe church expression in Costa Coffee. This will be once a month on a Wednesday evening and will provide a relaxed environment for people who are not regular churchgoers. If you would like to get involved with this or are interesting in bringing someone along, please register your interest here or chat to Nigel Bolitho.
3) Healing On The Streets
From January 2012, we are looking to begin a "Healing on the Streets" initiative in Chelmsford town centre. HOTS is an amazing ministry, providing prayer for the general public in a low-key yet highly visible way. The testimonies flooding in from different Healing on the Streets initiatives across the nation are incredible! We are looking for a team of people from CGCC to be a part of this ministry. Full training & support will be provided. We will be embarking on the training before Christmas, with a view to kicking off HOTS in the New Year. In addition to these there are also our regular activities taking place such as Alpha and the Community Fun Day.
